We are committed to providing high-quality education and a nurturing environment for children ages 2-6. At A Child's Place, we believe in fostering a love of learning through play-based activities and hands-on experiences. Our experienced teachers and staff are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive community where children can grow, learn, and thrive. At A Child's Place our goal is to introduce the wonder of learning through nature at a young age. In addition to promoting the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well being of each child, we encourage the appreciation of our earth and its natural resources. Our emphasis is on the value of nature and respect of all living things in our world.
First-Rate Curriculum
Where ooey-gooey fun meets a well thought out curriculum that encourages imagination and creativity while getting ready for our next steps into Kindergarten!
Our curriculum has a weekly theme that is followed by each classroom. The themes are planned for each month by the classroom's teachers so that the teachers are excited to share it with their students and they plan it around the individual goals of their students.
Our Dedicated ACP Staff
Our teachers are highly educated in the field of ECE. The entire staff continues to update our education every year by attending conferences such as NAEYC (National Association of Education for Young Children) and the Outdoor Classroom Project (OutdoorClassroomProject.org). We value our continued education and know that it strengthens our preschool program. Combined we have about 135 years of Preschool and Kindergarten experience. Each staff member is CPR & First Aid certified in case of an emergency.
